The 4 Regions of Texas

All parts of Texas are different but, since some places are more different then others Texas is split into four different regions. These regions are known as the four regions of Texas. The four regions are... the Gulf Coastal Plains, the Central Plains, the Great Plains, & the Mountain & Basins regions. All the regions may have something in common but they all have big differences to.

Maroon- Panhandle Plains
Burnt Orange- Big Bend Country
Royal Blue- Hill Country
Indigo- South Texas Plains
Teal- Prairies & Lakes
Aqua-Gulf Coast
Blue/Green- Piney Woods
All of the four regions have sub-regions or a unit which is from a larger region and is usually based on geographical research.
